Role Overview
We're seeking an accomplished Vice President of Sales to own and scale our North American revenue engine. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for building, leading, and executing the entire go-to-market strategy while directly driving seven-figure ARR growth. Reporting to the CEO and sitting on the senior leadership team, you will shape sales strategy, hire and mentor a high-performing team, and establish Oncore as the preferred hybrid-cloud partner for organizations modernizing their infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company’s sales strategy, including segmentation, pricing, channel partnerships, and geographic expansion.
- Build and lead a world-class sales organization (enterprise reps, SDRs, solutions engineers, and partner team).
- Personally carry a quota while transitioning to a player-coach model as the team scales.
- Develop and close strategic enterprise deals with C-suite buyers in financial services, healthcare, professional services, and other target verticals.
- Establish and manage key partnerships (Microsoft, Equinix, Google, AWS, others) to accelerate pipeline and co-selling.
- Own the full revenue funnel: demand generation, pipeline velocity, forecast accuracy, and win-rate improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and delivery leadership to refine messaging, packaging, and competitive positioning.
- Implement scalable processes, KPIs, and technology stack (CRM, CPQ, sales enablement tools).
- Represent Oncore at industry events, conferences, and key partner ecosystems.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 10+ years of B2B technology sales experience with at least 5 years in cloud infrastructure, managed services, Microsoft 365/Azure, or SaaS.
- Proven track record of building and leading teams that consistently meet quota targets.
- Deep experience selling into professional and managed infrastructure services across cloud provider ecosystems.
- Exceptional executive presence and ability to influence CIOs, CFOs, and boards.
- Experience implementing MEDDPICC, Value Selling, or similar enterprise sales methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus;
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada;
- Must be able to occasional travel within Canada and US.
